SCOREBOARD: PITT 83 MNCs, PSU 2, EPIC PWNAGE
so to answer you question, actually possibly next year. We’ve got an extremely difficult schedule with a a few big position questions (mainly LBs and QB, and possibly OL, hopefully they’ll improve), so we could very well be 8-4, 9-3, and Pitt’s D-line is pretty young and was pretty talented, along with their RB, so they could be 10-2, 9-3. Chances are fairly low, but still there.

It’s one thing for them to just lose, it’s another thing for them to absolutely gag on a 21 point lead at home and lose by a missed PAT in the biggest game they’ve played in over a decade. That stings.

My favorite part of the Pitt game
Was that Cincy let them score and the strategy worked. Pitt could have milked the clock and/or timeouts but left too much time for Cincy.

I think
that was a result of a shot by Battle initially being called, or at least marked down a 3, and then changed to a 2, since his stat line also went from 2-5 FGs and 1/4 from 3 to 2/5 FGs and 0-3 from three.
