Did y'all hear it snowed here in Houston yesterday?
They shut down the city. Even though it’s all melted and gone, everything that was scheduled for today is cancelled.
I hadn't heard that
still coming down in VA, about 4hrs of it now.

So the snow just took out my satellite feed...
I saw a website linked here earlier in the year for a website that hosts a ton of TV streams. Anyone know what it is?
Looks like I made it back in time for an exciting finish

This game is deja-vu from Thanksgiving..
except the uniforms are bearcats and panthers, instead of Longhorns and Aggies
true, but...
when both teams are giving up 40 or so, I don’t think either should win. Its not bball

YAY COLLAPSE!!!
I’ve been watching with the sound off while doing other things. GO BEARCATS!!!
GAH facemask
Nah
they’ve sucked for both teams this game

Ugh...I can barely watch this...
Cincy should just let them score so they can save clock and drive back down to tie it.
I can't NOT watch this
barely.

In other (lesser) news
ECU tops Houston, meaning that ECU 2009 beat ECU 2008.

thought that might have been possible

What's sad is that if these were SEC or Big12 teams..
It would be on the SC highlight real for weeks to come…
eh, it’ll probably make it anyway

99 pts.

It was offensive interference
The two players were running up the field, it was a crappy pass, the offensive receiver tried to go through the defensive player and initiated contact.
The coach outfit
with the utility belt outside of a long coat
is just dorky. Why would you want to look like DickRod?

I know the letters UC are in the word bUCkeye State
but seriously, why would you make a poster like that for a college football game not involving O$U?
Would love Zona to win today
break USC’s 10win season streak.

good as in good, or good as in entertaining?
because it didn’t even need to be anything other than a Pitt loss to be entertaining

what's the difference?
In your words?
"For me the game wasn’t grounded in reality. It was about the uniform you put on that turned you into a warrior. It was about the mythology of the battle, the victory, the defeat, the struggle." - Mike Reid, PSU '69
the Big East defenses are entertaining to watch, and so make an entertaining game, which for me is "good"
but I would not say that they are good defenses.
by The JuggerNitt on Dec 5, 2009 3:41 PM EST up reply actions
It was exciting
But seriously, you felt like any given play could be a TD because both defenses sucked so much.
Did you feel the same way...
about the USC – Texas NC game?

Didn't watch it tbh
But I got the feeling from this game that the offenses are only good because the defenses are so bad.
I agree,
in this game the defenses were not very good.

or the offenses are a product of playing against turrible defenses
I suppose we’ll find out in a month
by The JuggerNitt on Dec 5, 2009 3:40 PM EST up reply actions
the problem with that logic is...
when they play teams with no defense, every offense can look good.
by Artiefufkin10 on Dec 5, 2009 3:41 PM EST up reply actions
Isn't that the problem inherent in evaluating football?

i still think it would be tcu
But even as a big tcu fan, this year, at least, I’m rooting for texas. Why? Because if tcu sneaks in to the mnc game, it validates the bcs.

won't happen
TCU would get the nod before Cincy, and deservedly so. It’s my opinion that TCU could well be the best team in the country this year.
Let's Go State!
I hope so
But who knows how the computers will see a win over a top 15 team on the last saturday of the season.
THis^
Plus, Cinci’s got a proven issue filling bowl stadiums

agree wholeheartedly

Bama would kill them
They’d probably hand with Florida if their defense played like they did in the second half
fairly badly
In the Physicality Dept. Trenches would be a slaughter.

And this is why I waited to determine if Pitt was better than Penn State this season.
Someone weeks ago said that we as Penn State fans need to start respecting Pitt as better than us. I mentioned that Pitt had 2 big games left before I could make that statement. Pitt lost both those games. Don’t get me wrong – Pitt has a solid team and they are much improved.
"In the beginning the Universe was created.

Yes, thank you.
I can’t remember who was saying it, but I distinctly remember catching crap for disputing that stance.

They did better than I expected
But only cause Stull wasn’t as horrifically bad as he was last year, and Dion Lewis is decent. Senior O and D lines help out. Next year might be a different story. I think 12 of their starters were Seniors.
Much, much-improved
I watched them 3 times in toto this season, and they are not chumps. I think, tho, with their coach, and the recruiting advantage Penn State wields, that they may be near their peak. Unless they surprise and score a Pat White type difference maker outta the blue here sometime soon.

I agree
Again, a senior laden team. This year for them is akin to last year for us. Except we win 11 games and a conference championship and they get 9 wins and a middle tier bowl. I dont see any better for them with Wanny at the helm.
WOW WOW WOW
What a way to end that FSU-Zookers game
