Looks like Orange Bowl for us or Iowa
This morning ESPN and other BCS experts now saying TCU vs. Boise in Fiesta which bodes well for PSU in my opinion. Orange Bowl has more of a Penn State bias, which could help us get into BCS picture. Find out tonight, but it seems our chances have improved greatly with Orange Bowl vs. Fiesta (which looked to go Iowa over PSU all the way). If not, Cap One bowl vs LSU I will take.

I'm not sure if this is mostly internet scuttlebutt
but that’s what I’ve been reading. We’ll see how true it is pretty soon. I’ll be at work right until the selection so at least that will help.

TCU must have made a serious promise
They don’t usually sell out their own stadium. Boise does well, but I question how big TV ratings would be. Maybe the Boise brand name is enough at this point?

A possibility
I said it down in the fanshot posting of this issue…but maybe the BCS folks gathered ‘round and “encouraged” (w/ bags o’ money) the Fiesta to take the mid-majors. Rather than poison another BCS game with an uninteresting matchup, they conspired to quarantine the mess to one bowl.

Lou Holz picked PSU vs Boise in Fiesta
on college game day final.
I'm sure you know this
But he also picked ND to go to the NC game in September…
