Penn State held its Pro Day today. Not a lot of non-premium info we can pass along yet, though. Sorry. Aaron Maybin ran faster than he did at the combine. So did another high-profile Nittany Lion.

I'm going to assume (or at least hope)

That the faster high-profile Lion was a flu-less Derrick Williams, otherwise, he’s in serious draft trouble

Damn

Is it even possible to be more ripped than Maybin?

I do remember football, it is GLORIOUS

And not confined to ESPNU (except the Temple game).

This is our most desperate hour. Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi; you're my only hope.

Maybin +25 pounds?

Do you know how unstoppable he would be if he had stuck around? I mean, I’m happy for the kid and I can’t wait to see him in the NFL, but if he had put on 25 pounds of muscle and came back he would be unstoppable. He’d probably have 25 sacks on the season and be the #1 pick overall in 2010…

seriously

why don’t the guys do this training in the offseason whle they’re still in college?

by The JuggerNitt on Mar 19, 2009 9:21 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Because they're still in the Big10

which is too big and slow.

Blame Iowa!

Because

They don’t have the money to live away from home at a private training facility?
