Who is Linebacker U
Todd McShay claims U$C and not Penn State shall claim the title Linebacker U. If anyone out there has access to that silly pay to read ESPN Insider please read on and then submit a summary of what you read if your so kind to do so...

I don't have to read that to tell you who Linebacker U is.
PSU is the llinebacker U. Give USC all the adulations they deserve, they are Tailback U. Why do people feel the need to take this from PSU. What? 13 first team all american linebackers (4 two time first teamers), and a bunch of other 2nd and 3rd team all americans. We have Bowman and Lee possibly reaching that this year? Does USC have that? Not being selfish here, I know psu isn’t the most dominant program in history, but we always always have good linebackers, nay, GREAT linebackers. USC has some too, but no sorry Todd McFraud is a douchebag anyways, this just kind of proves it further.

Don't take offense to this
Just try to ignore it — it happens all the time, and it’s not going to stop. We’re always going to be Linebacker U.

Group dancing
We also do not engage in group sideline dances, which I really wish someone would explain to me why that does not qualify as a penalty

Believe me
When we put ?? Bowman Lee on the field this year it’ll be painfully obvious who Linebacker U is. I would not be surprised if both kids end up finalists for the Butkus and Bednarik awards.

What was that?
I’m sorry, I couldn’t hear you over the sound of our Lombardi Award, three Bednarik Awards, two Butkus Awards, 17 All-Americans, and our NFL Hall of Famer.
Yawn.

Please
He should go back and watch the Rose Bowl. Shipley was pwning Maualuga. Meanwhile Bowman had like a hundred TFL’s.

McShay
Todd McShay is a dooshe! He only got hired so ESPN can have someone on Gameday since Kiper won’t. I can’t wait for the day for Kiper to kick his ass.

McShay
is straight up dumb. The guy is the classic ESPN “expert”: someone who doesn’t know anything about sports, but has a personality so they throw him on TV and their website. You could tell McShay just watches the ESPN highlights and doesn’t actually do research. Two instances off the top of my head where he showed his lack of knowledge:
1. A couple days before the PSU-OSU game, they had him preview it, and he said something along the lines of, “Ohio State’s defensive line is going to have a great game, Penn State’s offensive line is BELOW AVERAGE” (really? didn’t AQ win some kind of award? Aren’t Cadogen and Orn looking to be drafted?)
2. Saying Maybin was a top five draft pick
Plus, the guy gets owned by Kiper. He’s scared to debate a guy who knows maybe a little bit more than him (which isn’t saying much)

I
remember that very clearly, I wrote him an email.
He said the offensive line was, “only ok.” Then he broke down our wide receivers, complete with film, to say that we had our best receiver Derrick Williams, reliable over the middle possession outlet guy Deon Butler, and our stretch the field deep ball guy Jordan Norwood, all controlled by offensive coordinator Jay Paterno. It’s not like he just messed up the names, he had prepped video to go along with all those points.
Idiot.

I do remember that
and then turning to my roommates and asking, “Did he actually say that?” and then turned off the TV

trust me, I hate USC more than any
but Willie McGinest carved out a pretty nice career

Most USC people
Think that Cushing was better than Malaluga and will have a better pro career. Here’s to hoping both flame-out because USC sucks.

No, that's just some skin from another dude's arm...
I can see how you’d think it’s Alford’s sack though – it’s probably huge. That reminds me of the “huge sack dance” we used to do in high school when our D came up with a big sack. We’d dance around pretending to hold our enormous balls. Football, cheerleaders, and endless possibilities. Those were the days. Wait, I was in the band, so, like, maybe at least a few possibilities?

When PSU puts two LBs in the first day of the draft next year
everyone will remember why OTHER PEOPLE gave PSU the title of Linebacker U.
IMO Bowman and Lee could both go first round.

Wiki
When I search Wikipedia for ‘Linebacker U’ I get redirected to Penn State Un iversity. That’s enough justification for me.
