The Hoosier Report Dies, Is Reborn
The blog formally known as The Hoosier Report is turning a page and now demands to be referred in image form:
I'm being told he will also grudgingly answer to the name CRIMSON QUARRY, and is now the latest blogger to join SBN's college ranks. Welcome!

That was the moment
we decided to stop sucking, glad Indiana could be there for it.
"We hugged as grown men do. It was a great moment. Then, it was business as usual." -- LJ Sr.
some of it has to do with squatting, I think
the rest of it is just a good excuse to change the name.
BSD
It's not a requirement to change the name
But SBN owns the rights to the URL. Personally, when I came over I didn’t want to use my old blog name. It takes a certain leap of faith coming on board with SBN. It’s a new format from what most guys are used to with blogger or wordpress. And SBN makes you sign a contract that has certain obligations they expect us to meet. So there’s a sense that if you join up and things don’t work out, you would like to be able to go back to your old blog again. But if you sell the rights for the name to SBN you can’t do that.
Bottom line, it’s a choice each blogger makes.

How about the Stylized logo?...
there seems to be some kind of consistency to the art. With the exception of that Rivalry Esq. logo, most blog art has a similar quality to it. Coincidence or is “The Man” controlling you guys in that regard too?

The Logo
They ask for our input on a design for the logo. Then they hand it off to their design artist to put together.
I asked for a picture of Joe Paterno’s shoes from the knees down as he’s standing on the football field. That’s what we got. Back then when SBN was young and poor, they couldn’t afford to pay the guy to redo it. So we’re stuck with it.
I’ve brought up the question once or twice about updating the logo, but for the most part it has not been well received.
If anyone wants to make up a logo I could present it to them as an alternative. I’m not good with graphics to do that kind of thing on my own. Of course, you probably could not feature the Nike swoosh anywhere. But apparently Chuck Taylor’s are ok. LOL

When are we getting MSU and NW on here? I’d like to be able to check up on all of the big televen teams, also enemy interrogatoins abound!
I always think "Little Tea Pot"
when I see that acronym. Somehow appropriate for NW.

Who knows
The MSU blogs are a quirky bunch. A lot of them come and go after a few months. And the ones who stick it out seem to be against joining the network for some reason.
I’m not sure what the story is with LTP. I hope they add him because he’s a fantastic blog.

As for MSU
Something might be happening with that within the next month or two. I don’t think I’m allowed to say yet, but stay tuned.
hmm, I'd imagine
that they’d want to get it done before the tournament starts.
