Gregg Doyel

Check out this piece of garbage by a CBS Sports.com "journalist". This Florida Gator grad, was not content with taking Bowden to task without also dragging Joe Paterno and Penn State into it as well. "The most criminal football program in America, Penn State, is coached by 82-year-old Joe Paterno.", writes the twelve time Pulitzer Prize winner. He also dredges up the WWL's OTL piece and, in a moment of originality, claims that Bowden and Paterno are old.

This guy is a garbage writer, and he knows it
who else would write in such a way so that they can have their weekly “Hate Mail” column. I don’t really have a problem with writers being assholes in order to stir the pot, especially guys who do it so blatantly that it is hardly worth taking note. Best way to deal with guys like Doyel is to realize early on what they’re about, and then just learn to ignore them whenever they come up in the future.
They only reason he has a job
is b/c people tune in to his garbage to blast him in the comments. He writes crappy articles to get a rise out of people. He’s the written word version of a “shock jock”.
Pretty much.
Let us know when Doyel doesn’t write a complete POS article.

that's why any time someone on here links to one of these POS articles
they should write the disclaimer “WARNING: you are about to drive traffic, and possibly revenue, towards a hack journalist. Please be advised not to click ony advertisements, or to comment in the message boards, as this will only lead their employer to think this person is doing a good job. In fact, try not to click on the link at all, if at all possible.”

I’m really not sure why I continue to go to CBSsports.com. Every college football article I read there is terrible.
I used to think that
and then I just stopped going. You’d be surprised how easy it is after the initial habit breaking effort.
BSD
I quit ESPN.com, cold turkey
And haven’t looked back. My blood pressure has thanked me.
Luring recruits with my new "Posting HD" scheme since '08.
Me too and I feel much better
The only places I go are BSD and SI.com
I think I might actually a few years longer because of this decision.
