Happy Supreme Overlord Of The Universe Day!

Happy Birthday, indeed, sir.  Because the actual birthday cake* was obliterated when Graham Zug blew out the candles, here's a picture of the cake Jamelle Cornley bought Ed Hightower.

What would happen if Zug . . .

fell victim to a Cornley SMASH? Is that a chicken or egg type question?

by NittanySeaLion on Apr 13, 2009 12:52 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

The only "victim"

Would be the rest of the world CORNLEY would SMASH, zug would smile (see above) and the world would be obliterated by the shock wave.

This is our most desperate hour. Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi; you're my only hope.

I was confused for a while.

I was like “why are we celebrating that THEM kickers birthday???”

Yes, not to be confused with Space Emperor (Of Space).

Word

I’ll have to keep that straight in the future.

Man, I miss DP Dough so much

It was not uncommon for me to eat that 3 times in a day (lunch, dinner, and after the bars).

I am not even kidding when I say that East Lansing having a DP Dough was one of the factors that went into me deciding to come to MSU for grad school. It was inferior to the PSU one (they would use like deli meats instead of chunks, and the cheeses weren’t as good), but still good. Best of all they were the only place that delivered to one of the places I lived out here.

Unfortunately they closed for business about a year or so ago (they had a horrible location). I make it a point to get a ‘Zone whenever I’m back at PSU, though.

ALL HAIL SUPREME OVERLORD ZUG!!!

He was born?

I thought he was formed from the molten lava of prehistoric volcanoes.

I heard he was the meteor

that caused the dinosaurs to become extinct

He simply appeared

Precisely when he wanted to.

Lord Zug doesn’t eat birthday cake.

LOL, I forgot about this picture

but it is phenomenal.

I especially like how all 3 of the lions are looking in the same direction at something

It's a Song Girl

They must

I especially love the BSD mention on his wikipedia page.

wait wait wait

Zug has become somewhat of an internet meme—especially on the Penn State sports-related blog, Black Shoe Diaries, where his fictional, absurdly-heroic exploits are celebrated in the vein of “Chuck Norris facts.”

What do they mean “fictional” and “absurdly heroic exploits”? Is this like when I found out Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny weren’t real…or is this paragraph just an internet hoax (probably perpetrated by those dastardly folks over at BHGP)?

There were others who were ridiculed

and persecuted. So it shall be with Zug.

They will be judged.

You're not his dad?
