Query: Where are you parking for Blue/White?
Just wondering where folks park for their Blue/White game tailgates.
We've been contemplating a location move for our b/w tailgate due to some changes to the parking rules for the gameday RV parking lot (behind the west stands). We've been parking there for Blue White for many, many years - but we're open to change.
We're a multi-car (this year, with one RV) multi-canopy tailgate - any suggestions?
Thanks.

The fields
Best Place that I have found is in the fields right across from the baseball field. The only issue is timing. The eariler you get there the more that you might be able to convince the parking people for your spot.

wow
y’all really like it over there by the baseball field – do they have ample room for tailgating?

I didn't want to start a new fan post for this...
hopefully someone can help me from here…
I have access to Mt. Nittany Club tickets for the blue/white game if I want them… I have never been up there… Does anyone know if this is an area you’re allowed to bring in alcoholic beverages during the game?

Nope.
Only area in the stadium that allows alcohol are the luxury boxes. Mt. Nittany Club, while nice, is a completely different area (south end zone), and does not allow alcohol.
More proof that $$$ runs the university, but I digress.

luxury boxes
are friggin sweet — i used to stock one of them every home game as one of my part time jobs — it was a sweet gig.
One day hopefully I’ll have the cash to watch a game or two up there — but nothing will beat being in the stands.

I watched a game from the the suites once
Other than being able to drink and eat decent food while watching the game, nothing beats sitting in the stands.

Nittany Lion Club
We sit there a few times a year and it is nice, it way more fun in our regular seats in the South End Zone.

agreed
The past two years, parking has been a complete free-for-all.

one of my favorite things to do
is get there early, and critique the parking people’s job as I relax in the sun and drink. i always say this is a scrimage for them too — and usually they do a piss poor job, lines of cars that curve around, the cars are too spaced out, or not spaced out enough, it’s chaotic. By September they’re like a well-oiled machine though — I wonder if they practice all summer…

I wanna see a good
fanpost on your analysis of this. It’s got all the makings of a good read: Criticism of others’ performance, a dearth of additional critics on the same subject, an alcohol-tuned millzner critical eye, and what’s certain to be a hilarity of antics by the newbie parking staff.
Bring it!

i like to think it's b/c the Student Auxilary isn't helping quite as much.
But that may be b/c i used to work as an AO directing traffic for the football games. best job EVER!

perhaps my parents didn’t love me…
also, JoePa hit you TWICE? That is…that is…I don’t even know how to describe it.

Here's where we agree to disagree.
Watching people tailgate, while I’m NOT tailgating, I would vote as the WORST job ever. But I’m biased towards tailgating, as you may imagine.
