Paulus update

Sources indicated late Friday afternoon that the Michigan football program is no longer exploring the possibility of adding former Duke PG Greg Paulus to its fall roster.

Whatever.

I really like this comment:

Five years from now, no one will believe that a Duke basketball player tried to transfer here to play QB. This is has great trivia potential.

RICHROD WILL MAKE THEM INTO A MACHINE.

Doesn't sound like a solid denial.

Regardless, its apparently caused some serious damage to the UM psyche and brand.

Sad that this drama might end

However, this does confirm that at least they did go after Paulus behind the rest of the team, and especially Forcier’s back, which continues to add leagues to the image of the Great Snake-Oil Salesman himself, and hopefully continues to be that tiny sliver of rationality left in the brain of a Wolverine fan that realizes this douche bag was a huge mistake, success or not, in terms of the image of the program.
