Good luck with that
The last time I tried to watch the BW game on an internet feed I missed the entire second quarter due to the lag.

Feed....
They have done this before at Famous and it worked out fine with the feed keeping up. And no……I don’t know where they are getting the feed from. Here is the email address for the club if you want to enquire though: info@psuatlanta.com
I thought only safeties played 15 yards off the ball?

GoPSUSports.com
The Blue-White Game can be heard on more than 25 Penn State Sports Network radio affiliates across the Commonwealth and metropolitan New York City, with Steve Jones and Joe Paterno calling the action. The contest also will be available at www.GoPSUsports.com, the official website of Penn State Athletics.
Based on the banner ads, expect it to be on Penn State All Access.

The Big Ten Network
Refers you to GoPSUsports.com, which will have a feed, but an Audio-only feed.
No thread I have seen, here or FOS, has included someone finding a video feed.
I hope I’m wrong, and if I am: PLEASE post it in this thread!

It was streaming
on the BTN website last year, can’t find anything for 2009, although I hear the Buckeyes are being streamed on the site.

Whatever happened to the "Where to watch PSU games" feature?
It seems like a good time to pull some of that stuff together again.

It's still on the front page, under the "blogroll" section on the left sidebar
And if anyone has any new bars they’d like to add to the map, let me know and I will keep it updated. Also let me know if any of the existing spots have closed, burned to the ground or suck. I’ll remove them from the map.

I swear...
when I was in school the game was actually televised. Am I crazy? Or was I just that drunk?

I think you were the guy
that brought a cardboard box to the game, set it up in front of you, and watched through it, pretending it was a TV

So you saw me then? However; if that were the case I would have most likely been staring at the cheerleaders hoping against hope that I tuned into a 1:30 a.m. cinemax flick and it was just minutes till things got a bit out of hand.
Where was I, oh yeah while I can’t confirm that it used to be broadcast outside of State College, I clearly remember sitting in an apartment at the Diplomat in close proximity to a keg on a less than sunny b/w weekend watching the game on tv. In my defense, I went to school there during a dark time.

When I watch
cardboard TV I have one of those newfangled flatscreens. I got rid of my giant appliance box tv a few years ago. Now I have enough room for my TV and my imaginary friend wherever I go.

WTF
is the point of the BTN if they aren’t going to televise the only event people care about between March and September?

They are...
didn’t you see they are televising The Ohio State Buckeyes spring game. Not sure what we have to complain about. You act like we won the Big10 last year and deserve top honors.

They are broadcasting baseball and softball. Now, you can feel the need to blow off those sports, but I don’t have much problem with the BTN broadcasting actual real competitions over meaningless scrimmages of a more popular sport. In particular, I’d argue that it’s dissapointing that they don’t broadcast more baseball, which I think is a bigger issue. Why don’t they ever broadcast any of the midweek baseball non-conference baseball games?

that's all well and fine
as long as they show the BW game on tape at some other point in time

Okay, that’s fair. I think it would make sense to simply release the TV rights to the individual schools and let them negotiate local TV deals (PSU could potentially put the game on FSN-Pittsburgh and CSN-Philly, etc.) but retain the rebroadcast rights (which those channels probably wouldn’t care about anyway) for broadcast during the week on the BTN. That seems like a sensible thing, given that multiple teams have their spring games the same day, so it would be impossible to broadcast them all live.
I do agree though that there is no particular reason why the BTN (or schools directly) can’t be doing an internet stream of all the games. But I don’t blame the BTN for not carrying the games on the TV channel itself when there is live, real games being shown instead.
