I'm trying to remember a story
about someone leaving early and going undrafted. I wonder how much of this is the weed thing because his play in 2007 alone was enough to take a 7th round chance on…
I thought he performed terribly in all his workouts and combines and basically was out of shape. I’d imagine that’s a much bigger red flag than his off the field incident.
This is a fitting end to my story:
Late August I bought my first PSU jersey of my adult life. I chose 48 b/c I love defense and I loved the way Mo’ played in 2007 — I thought he’d be a star this season. 2 weeks later he’s arrested. 9 months later, after a disappointing season, he leaves the team early for the NFL only to go undrafted.

He might blame Joe for the
3 game suspension, but he can only blame himself for ignoring the guidance of the adults around him.

Well, we knew this was coming.
But hey, it’s over now and I hope he catches on with the Giants. There’s a team that was always willing to take a shot on PSU guys, and as an Eagles fan, it kills me to like the Giants a little because of that.
(I believe that was Ernie Accorsi’s influence, by the way. He knew Paterno from long ago.)

yeah, I've always been annoyed at how many Nittany Lions go to the Giants
