Which 2008 recruit will have the biggest impact in 2009?
This is going to be a tremendous opportunity for many of these kids to step up and make a name for themselves because of the spots left open due to graduation/draft. Obvious picks are Crawford, Price, Mauti, or Lynn b/c we NEED them to have a big impact. Also don't sell the O-line guys short. I regretably had to leave out Pete Massaro b/c of his season ending injury during the B&W game.

Jack Crawford...
Seems to have gotten the rave reviews this spring and many are billing him to be LJSR’s next big D-lineman. I am cautiously optimistic… While he does have all the measurables to be an outstanding DE, he has only played the sport of football a few years. That lack of experience can be a blessing and/or a curse, depending on how he adjusts. Little experience = lots to learn, but it also means less bad habits to break and he’ll be learning fantastic technique as his first go round. The cupcakes in the early season will be a nice way fro him to break into a stride for the entrees of the season… Who said dessert first was a bad thing???

Jack Crawford is the defensive version of Zug
Now if we could only combine them to produce Grack Zugford…

I went with Lynn
as our secondary is both depleted and needed shitloads some work covering the deep ball.

That's true, TME, but....
as much as I hate to say it, our ‘soft’ scheme just kills us against strong passing games.
I’ll certainly agree a d-back has a great chance to shine this year; there’s certainly openings to fill.

me too
I read an article on him, and that coupled with his size and speed made me think he’s going to blow up this year. We may actually find our secondary upgraded from last season in terms of athleticism — and he should be a big part of that.

Toyed with that vote
but went with Mauti. The past 40yrs say it’s his job to make plays. Uh, all he has do is beat Puz Connor Lee & Bowman to the ball one third of the time.
I’ve got him down for over 70 tackles. Tell me you want some of that action.

Pannell
LOT is a position of the utmost importance along with the rest of the OL. Otherwise it would be Crawford because of the importance of the lines. PSU isn’t quite as thin on the DL as they are on the OL.
Kath?
How 'bout "M"...

Looks like Zug voted for Farrell
Shoot I got it wrong….I voted for Crawford.
Nope
Had Zug voted he would have replaced A.J. Price so that no one would be able to vote for any other WR but him.

Great
Now I’m going to have nightmares of a player on a team I root for! What is wrong with these kids and their pictures? Doesn’t anyone know how to throw a shocker up? Or give the guy next to you bunny ears? Why so serious?

Biggest impact = Brandon Ware
I mean, look at the size of the guy. He impacts something, he’s making a crater.
