Impressive
Look at the names of the others who got invited. It may be tough for Battle to make it, but just to get invited is an honor. Those guys are all studs (especially Brackins, who next year will be a top 5 NBA pick).

This is great
All of these little honors and accolades are just one more thing Ed and the coaches can point to when trying to recruit kids.
Come play for Penn State and you may have the opportunity to represent your country with other NBA level talent.

The more I look at it
The better chance Battle has to make it. Let’s peg in Collins as the starting PG, but then who else would back him up? Turner and play Point-Forward, but that doesn’t work in Internation ball. Fisher is more of a 2 guard who likes to shoot. I now think Battle will make it as the backup point.

And
You have to like his chances since Bo Ryan is the head coach. It’s good to have someone who has seen hours of film on him and knows what he’s capable of doing. If it comes down to a close call between Battle and another guy, you have to think Ryan will go with the guy he knows best.
Should also benefit us for Battle to get a little inside look on Ryan’s coaching techniques and share that with Ed.
