Davidson to Compete in Charleston Classic

The final team has been announced to the Charleston Classic lineup. Davidson is probably the best possible outcome since the team had to come from the Southern Conference. Despite the loss of Curry, they have increased the level of talent on their team. The team could totally have been worse.

this would be a big deal if we got to watch a Battle vs. Curry match up…i don’t think anyone wants to watch Battle vs. some random white kid with no quicks…

I know back when it was first announced, we were hopeful that this tournament wouldn’t bring any RPI busters onto the schedule. It looks like a step up from last year.

Yep

The only seemingly bad team is UNC-Wilmington and even they aren’t that bad. This is actually a pretty good combination of team for PSU — winnable games that will help the non-conference schedule strength.
