PSU Cornhole Board
Just thought I'd share my first attempt at a Penn State cornhole board - all painted no stickers... Got a little tilted on the A-Logo, but not bad for an amateur.
Prepare now for tailgating comes sooner that you think...

Sweet!
Great work! Mine are all white, just waiting for discovery of a grand artiste.

I'm in Fort Worth TX
I did a matching LSU one for my wife.
I do have a graphics design business but this is obviously a personal love kind of thing. I have the graphics files I used to make the stencils and I’ll just send them to anybody that wants them. Can’t sell the logos or anything anyway since they’re licensed. I can give them away though.
If anybody’s interested just drop me a line at brubby AT beerleaguedesigns DOT COM

This game brings me back to my roots
Every year at the big family reunion, all my great aunts would play “bean bag toss” – some of them even did it from the lawn chairs so they wouldn’t have to stand. Then when I tailgated at my first Penn State game, I saw everybody drinking and playing this game. I knew I was home!!

Did you hand paint the lettering and logo, or was it a stencil?
Either way, looks like it was put together very nicely, mine wouldn’t have gotten beyond nailing one piece of wood to another without getting pissed off and throwing the tools across the room.

I made a stencil
I found the logos I wanted online and printed them on my plotter at work (a little bit of cheating there I suppose)
I put some double sided tape down on the back of the print and then cut out the logo. I painted the whole board white, laid down the positive stencil and painted over the whole thing in blue. The stripes I just did with painters tape. I had to do a little touch up at the end but I went from start to playing in under a week – the longest part was waiting for all the paint to dry

Maybe, since it's the super boring PSU time of year
We need a post where everyone can show off all their crazy PSU rooms/gear – the stuff that makes non-PSU folk roll their eyes and we just say “you wouldn’t understand”.

The only crazy PSU thing I have in my room
is all of the pom poms and PSU trinkets I’ve collected from games the past few years that are now stuffed in the curtain rod of my room, so that you cant even see the curtain beneath it. The majority were from the Outback Bowl when I went to the pep rally. They had this gigantic table full of them, and like the idiot I am, I grabbed as many handfuls as I could carry. My dad was about to kill me because we had to somehow find a way to stuff all of them in my suitcase (like literally 20-30 of them). And I have a ton more from all the games I’ve gone too, with the scores of the game written on them, but my curtains have run out of room.

Sounds like a great idea...
I have a letter I sent to Joe that he signed and sent back… it was basically apoligizing for almost running him over in old Lot 80. Crazy old guy just jumped out from behind a van into the road. He just waved and kept on moseying… gotta love it

Pinewood Derby Car
A few years ago when my son was in Cub Scouts, they had a parents division for the Derby race. I built a blue and white flying wedge with little wooden JoePa at the wheel and the lion as passenger. I gotta admit, it looks pretty rad (even if my wife asked why there was a teddy bear in the car).
If I knew had to add pics from my hardrive to a post, I’d share.

upload to imageshack.us
or photobucket, and then link to them (or I think if you start your own fanpost/fanshot you can upload an image there, but that would mean a ton of crap fanposts or fanshots)
