Artsfest 2009?
Who's going? I know I am (being the broke alumna I am, staying in West Halls for $50 a night instead of trying to get a bunch of people to rent a hotel room with me). Maybe we can have a BSD meet up there>

It's a possiblity.
And, yes – as a ‘special event’ weekend, the hotels are all in the $250/night range.
However, my daughter’s boyfriend invited me to stay at the apartment if I was going up. If I do, a little golf will be required.
Do you play? Does anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Basic Blues.
No Name.
All Game.
Yep
I did it with my family ten years ago when I was 11 (I think we were in Thompson). Just remember you’re in West Halls (or any dorm for that matter) in the middle of July with no AC, so the temp inside the room will probably 20 degrees hotter than it is outside. They let you rent fans when we stayed there, but when it’s 80/90 degrees outside even an industrial strength fan isn’t going to do jack shit to cool off a PSU dorm room.
$50 bucks isn’t a bad deal, especially when you get breakfast at Waring Commons included.

oh wow
That’s pretty neat. Thanks for the info. I wish I would have known that the past two years when I used to pack into friend’s apartments. Of course I learn that now after I have my own place.
Let's Go State
I remember one of my friends having "allergies"
and got to have an AC in his room. Probably hurt more than it helped since it is winter most of the time, and they don’t seem to keep out the cold as well as the windows, but early fall and late spring it was nice.
