Also it is interesting that we are by far the highest profile team on the 0 list. In addition, ignoring short stints of respectability, BC and Stanford are the only teams with the semblance of a football program for this time period.

Also

Half of those teams have only been playing D-1 football for ten or fifteen years… UConn, Florida Atlantic, UAB, Troy, hell even Boise State.

Ohio State has been found guilty of major infractions four times since the 1950s, but it had none in the past three years.

See? Three years of spotless character! You might as well wipe their record clean.

It’s so strange to find a newspaper trying to justify something like that.
