He's got more wit, and knows more about what he's talking about

He’s got more wit and humor and knows a hell of a lot more about what he’s talking about than I would say the majority of current coaches do.

I wish I could find the video of a press day they had last year (it was one of the very few times I’ve ever seen video come out of a practice), where he’s yelling at the top of his lungs (I think it was at DC-17 if I remember), then when the player doesn’t hear, Joe goes running over to go find him. Show that to people and see if they still call him a figurehead with no control over the program, and just being used as a cash cow being kept there to bring the glory and fame of the all time wins to the University (aside from practices the past few years where he’s been injured, but even then he was active in the team, not just sitting around taking cat naps while the players practice and the assistants take over).

And if they’re still going to be douche bags, tell them how Joe dislocated his hip this year: demonstrating an on-sides kick AT 82yo.

the thing that confuses me about that "chasing after DC-17" part

is he goes after him, and yells whatever, but the only QB on the field at the time is Devlin…but he’s not even looking at Devlin. Maybe they were alternating QBs, though?
