Miles Dieffenbach picks PSU
Scout and Rivals say that "4-star" OL Miles Dieffenbach from Pittsburgh committed to PSU today.
Apparently everyone figured him a lock with Pittsburgh. I guess he got wiser after his visit this week.
Per a Rivals interview:
"I wasn't really holding out for it. I mean, I grew up a Pitt fan all my life and always hated Penn State, so when they offered me, I wasn't really that into it," said Dieffenbach. "But then I visited and it was different from what I thought. I loved it, and the tables turned."

I love this:
“I wasn’t really holding out for it. I mean, I grew up a Pitt fan all my life and always hated Penn State, so when they offered me, I wasn’t really that into it,” said Dieffenbach. “But then I visited and it was different from what I thought. I loved it, and the tables turned.”
Hey Wanny.....

This is HILARIOUS. Kid practically lives on Pitt’s campus, sees PSU’s campus once, and COMMITS to PSU a week later. Nice message in there. Really speaks volumes about what Pitt has to offer….
wow, this is a surprise
this is the year we can all finally stop whining about losing in-state commits. We’ve already got 3 of the top 10 and we’re leading with 4 of the others. This class is going to be incredible.

I'm still worried, but please if you can comfort me
That we’re getting excited too early. We now have 2 5* recruits (via Scout, although, one was just upgraded a few days ago from a 4-star. It’s great that we’ve got talent that seem committed and excited to play for us, but I’m still worried this early.
Sorry to be a Debbie Downer, but in other news, welcome to PSU Miles!
