Came home from work yesterday and lo and behold my fancy WAPS was waiting for me in the mailbox.

I only had a chance to glance through it but it looks AWESOME... tons of pictures & graphs and the articles look really good and the few I read were really well put together. I've never been a big preseason mag guy because they always tended to disappoint. But this might just change my outlook and give me something to look forward to every summer.

I hesitate to offer my first born but maybe I can sacrifice a slab of bacon to the monster in my tummy in honor of the BSD crew and the other folks who put this thing together... no since angering the football gods this early...

Congrats and I hope it sells enough copies to seriously upgrade the grotto

He's so reliable, and I love this magazine

I don’t know why but the last season recap was epic to me. Brought back a lot of memories both great and painful lol. I’m actually a fairly new PSU fan. I didn’t like SPORTS of any kind until I went to Penn State (I’m a senior now), and now I love them of course, football the most. So yeah, my first two PSU seasons were the QB14 phase, and I missed Mrob’s year (and luckily the dark years), so last year was my first great season, though I’ve spent a considerable amount of time learning about all the great seasons before but last years will always be a special one to me. I also really liked the section detailing our 2009 freshman. I haven’t finished it yet but I’m sure there is more great stuff too. Thanks to everyone who helped put this together.

Read it on the flight out today

Jeff McLane and Josh Langenbacher probably had the most insightful, well-written articles. Tony Pittman had a good one too, especially for the fact that he cited luck as a major factor for their success. No freezing temps that year. How could I forget? I was at every home game during that season!

Overall, it’s better to read this than ESPN’s College football ~~blurb~~ in depth analysis.
