Oh, and

Someone from Heinz just called in and they are adding some tailgate package that’s valued at $1500 to the package.

Is it just me or does none of that actually sound appealing next to my usual tailgating and game-day activities?

Aside from meeting Joe

it’s not really that appealing to me, and definitely not worth $3000+, although it is for charity.

It is almost appealing to me

just for the hotel, airfare, 2 tix, and meeting JoePa, plus a chance to get on the field pre-game and not get arrested and miss the rest of the game.

Instead I’ll just try to get tix the old fashion way, travel, and sleep in the car in the parking lots, and still probably spend $500+

Yeah...

I don’t see any mention of beer pong.

Pre-game on the field is pretty cool

but I agree – where’s the deep frying? That’s turrible.

I was going to maybe start a JayPa-Herd open fanpost

but this should suffice.

Did anyone catch Lou Holtz earlier? Guy was talking crazy, saying this is the year Weis and the Domers will “bomb USC”. The guy owes my company a new computer monitor because the old one is covered in my coffee. I agree that USC is probably overrated this year considering they are replacing practically their entire team AND BOTH COORDINATORS, but c’mon Lou. It’s USC. And Notre Dame. And Jimmy Pickle Emu.

Welp

That was unremarkable. Jay gave a good interview, but a third of it was Herd bringing up the Rose Bowl. Another third was pitching the PSU-Iowa package. And the rest was JoePa talk mixed with some expectations of this season.

And now he’s doing the usual banging on our schedule, but with the backhanded compliment of saying we should be a top 5 or 10 team.

Does anyone on here........

know Amanda ? She said she was producing Gameday as well ( I presume the radio show). She’s doing awfully well for herself at what I am gathering is a pretty young age.

Gross

You’d tap Colin Cowherd? Low standards man….

What is up with his face?

It looks like he was wearing his fighter pilot goggles on his motorcycle for too long.

Didn't notice there was a dude in the picture.

Saw cleavage, and that ended that thought process.

She's definitely pretty

And smart. A good combination for your average dude to settle on. She definitely strikes me as the kind of chick that a guy like Cowherd would be completely whipped by, and it shows during the radio broadcast. He sort of jabs at her sometimes, in a I-totally-would-drop-my-pants-in-a-heartbeat-if-you-let-me kind of way. But she’s too aware of her power over him, so she plays it off like it’s nothing.

She’s a sly chick, and I respect that. She’ll do well for herself.

Is she like his producer

or are they maried or something? I have only listened to the Heard once, when it was broadcast from the HUB before the ND game. Never heard of him before or really since.
