Bruce Felder's top College football fanbase
The top 10 largest college football fan bases. Not largest revenue of stadium, just the number of fans.
If you're talking about strictly the size of the fan base, I'd factor in attendance and the program's reach (marketing cachet), as well as things like how much support they drive via the Internet and their fan sites. There are obviously many teams with amazing home-field support bases (like Nebraska or Alabama, especially considering Bama splits some of its state passion with Auburn), but this is my quick top 10:
Notre Dame
Ohio State
Texas
Penn State
USC
Oklahoma
Alabama
Nebraska
Michigan
LSU
Sorry Bruce...I disagree

I don't disagree with your list.
Couldn’t read Feldman’s list .
I tried to think of other strong fan bases (off top of my head, no factoids). Two that I thought of that might break a top ten list were Tennessee or Georgia and maybe (longshot) Texas A&M. It would be hard to displace any of your choices. LSU might be vulnerable, but the other nine are awfully solid.

That was Bruce's list...
I would take out LSU…add a Tennessee

USC has a fanbase?
I thought to be a top fanbase you weren’t allowed to be comprised of 98.4% bandwagon fans. Just because the wagon is still rolling doesn’t mean they’re not bandwagon fans. Of course, it helps to be fairweather fans in a city that always has fair weather.
