Our Fearless Leader in Purdue Territory
Don't worry Mike. I won't hold it against you that you have a soft spot for Michigan. Truth be told, I actually have a soft spot for OSU. I grew up in a buckeye household and my parents are die-hards. There's even a school picture of me in a buckeye hoodie from when I was unable to make my own dress decisions.

This is easily one of the worst feelings I’ve had in my entire life.

Why would Zug go to West Lafayette?
Ironical, actually, hook. I came into Fanshots to post this headline I just saw on Yahoo:
Iran president: No rift with supreme leaderwith plans to make some pithy remark like ‘even Ahmadinejad knows better than to cross Zug.’ But your post has Fearless Leader in it about Mike, so the timing just wasn’t right and—bonus!—you get it in here instead!
Seriously, tho, another nice interview Mike. I do really respect how the BSD founder has such a reasoned and level tone. You’re a good outward (and inward) representative of our fanbase. And I know you know it’s not about you, so I’ll stop blowing smoke now. Thanks again, tho.

Mike you ignorant slut
BSD: When I was in high school I got to attend the 1991 Gator Bowl as a member of my high school marching band. Michigan beat Mississippi 35-3, so I kind of became a Michigan fan from that. I was still a diehard PSU fan as a kid, but this was a few years before Penn State joined the Big Ten so I didn’t see any conflict of interest there. Today I still kind of pull for the Wolverines when they’re not playing my Lions.
I don’t even know who you are any more…

I started crying after I read that
My mind has gone numb, and my world has shattered before my eyes. Who can I trust now? I am alone. Is there anyone I can trust? Zug? But wouldn’t Zug have vaporized Mike for such blasphemy? Now my mind is clouded with questions of whether or not there really is a Zug or not! OH THE HUMANITY! WHYYYYY!?!??!?!

Little baby
Zug does not care about the mindless “cheering” people do for their “favorite teams”.
Grow up.
May Zug have mercy on your soul.

My own admission
When I was in like 3rd grade or so growing up in Jersey, someone gave me a Michigan shirt for my birthday (I have no idea why…I swear it was some sort of “champions” shirt, but they didn’t win any MNC games around that time. Maybe it was a Big 10 championship or something.
I actually remember not liking that gift very much (I barely even knew what college football was, and why would I want a shirt from a place so far away?), but I do admit that I wore it on occasion.
I feel dirty now.

Great Job!
I remember having a pair of Michigan basketball shorts, the Fab Five Days when I was young and before Michigan was even relevant to Penn State Athletics. BUT, I quickly turned against them once we did start playing them and I started to see just how worthless their fanbase is. I agree with Mike on the best and worst moments at Penn State, I was a sophomore 2nd row student section for that Minnesota game. Everyone sat there in silence for 20+ minutes after the game, i could have died.

The Fab Five actually played at Rec Hall once
Jalen Rose threw a ball off the backboard to Chris Webber who dunked it. Pretty cool, got a standing ovation from the crowd.
