Paul Jones To Miss Entire Senior Season?
Maybe. From the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette:
Jones, a Penn State recuit, was scheduled to have surgery today at Childrens Hospital.
"Depending on how things go, the worst-case scenario is he will be out four to six months," said Jones' father, also named Paul. "The best-case scenario is that he can get out and start moving around maybe three, four games into the season."

Cue recruiting service star shanking....now
But in all seriousness, best of luck to him on a speedy recovery. It really must suck to miss out on your senior season (possibly anyway). Had I played sports in HS, I would probably appreciate what that means more. At least he can take comfort in the fact that we aren’t going to shy away from him just because he’s injured like a lot of schools would.

That’s just horrible for him- I wasn’t even good at football (I was a 180 lbs. offensive tackle. ‘Nuff said.) but the senior year was the cap of four years of work with the same guys. I just ran into a few guys from HS over the weekend and talked about memories from that year. Here’s to a speedy recovery for Paul, recruit or not, no one should have to miss their senior season.
Penn Staters belong at Penn State. The problem with a lot of kids is they just don’t know they are Penn Staters yet. -jesse. @ BSD

this is my favorite part of that article
quote from his dad
“People have said, ‘Why was he playing basketball?’ " said Jones’ father. “Because he’s 17 years old and he is an athlete. You can’t have kids live in a bubble.”
you go, dad.
