AJ Wallace to miss some games
Yeah. Didn't need to wake up this morning and read that AJ Wallace may miss a couple of games due to cutting some classes. The only upside I see is getting some much needed playing time for the greener defensive backs and I am a bit curious as to who will be stepping in on some of his returning duties.
I can honestly say I would rather see us lose him due to academics rather than off the field indiscretions but it still tastes nasty either way.

hopefully someone steps up. It would have been nice if that person was Givens… I know it’s Akron, but Akron can throw the ball, so hopefully some young guys will cut their teeth out there and be better for it come Illinois.

eh
he is missing Akron and Syracuse. He will have no material effect on the outcome of those games unless Greg Paulus really is the second coming (of Tebow).
I got all upset last year when Maurice Evans missed those early games, and it turned out ok.

he is "only" missin Akron and Syracuse
but more importantly he’s missing 2 games in which he’d gain playing experience with his fellow secondary. Now they will have half the time to become cohesive before the Iowa game.

Can he just go away...
