PSU-OSU 2005 on BTN/ Joepa Poll

Follow the link below and Strongly urge the BTN to put on PSU-OSU 05, or any other game you feel neccessary, Perhaps the 06 Orange Bowl, the 87 Fiesta Bowl. Some of the games may not be able to be put on for copyright reasons, but you never know.  Just saw the 95 Rose Bowl today, tied in the 3rd qtr at 14 with less than 5 minutes left.  Perhaps those darn ducks cost us a shot at the NC in 94.

Miami cost us in 1994

They played the most pathetic, heartless and gutless football game I ever saw that day. They rolled over and died for Nebraska in the second half of that game.

Miami in 94

I can still see Sapp doing jumping jacks in the first half and then dragging his sorry, exhausted butt in the second half.

Wish we had played Nebraska in 94 and settled it on the field. We would still be scoring on them.

Also, maybe the big 10 network could show the 94 PSU vs OSU game….if they dare.

Doesn't matter

According to 95skersbestever:

PSU team better in 94? Think again. 94 Blackshirts proved what they would do to an offense loaded with future NFL ’ers in the line and at all the skill positions. 94 CU loaded with future NFL players on offense and many for long term careers. QB. K. Stewart, RB R. Salaam ( 94 Heisman) WR Caruth and Westbrook, TE C. Fauria, G H. Irwin, and otehr NFL lineman. This team scored a grand total of 7 points against 94 NU. 94 NU 45 PSU 20 and 20 is generous. NU offense would dominate that soft PSU D

Sorry, but I love youtube comments so much.

Does anyone remember...

…in 94 where Garth Brooks was trying to set up a game (after the bowls) for PSU-Nebraska to play on a neutral field? I somehow remember him proposing to fund this and the NCAA didn’t give him the time of day.

if true, then I am now a fan of Garth Brooks

I sometimes wish I had the money to set up such matchups.

JoePa wins

I’m figuring he finishes out his 3 years, winning at least 10 each year, so 30+ wins, getting him to 413+, the most Division 1 wins, and 2 MNCs (with 2 undefeated seasons, one this year or next, and the other in 2011). That’ll be 6 decades with undefeated seasons in them, and I will be satisfied.
