Mayhem breaks out in Buffalo
Looks like Chafie pulled a Scott Boris and got Aaron Maybin some pretty decent chedda. Aaron is in Buffalo and will join them on the practice field. Details haven't been released except the fact that he can earn up to $25 million with this new 5 year deal. I hope he has a great rookie season. That means that 2 PSU Alums got paid today and yes.............there's no flags on the field!!!!!!!

the only way they stopped him from having about 25 sacks in that game alone.

Thank Zug we won, otherwise I think I would have gone postal on the refs
for the blatantly missed (read: ignored) holding calls.

Chafie and Aaron
Chafie gets his percentage for being Aaron’s agent and of course Aaron gets the salary. Cha Ching!

Don't forget Lavar
I bet a player’s publicist gets at least a small cut of their NFL pay.

I'd bet against that in this case
Maybin: Lavar, you’ve been a huge help, what is your percentage?
Lavar: Son, please. Do you even know how much of Dan Snyder’s money I’ve banked?

I'm glad this saga is finally over, it was starting to get embarassing
I don’t know who is really at fault for this. I don’t see Mayhem holding out for more cash, so that would lead me to believe it was Chafie.

Agents do as their clients tell them to. If Aaron would have told Chafie to get a deal done before camp started it would have been done. Agents who don’t listen to their clients don’t have clients for very long.

Players have the final say, but they listen to their agents' advice.
And it all boils down to cost-benefit analysis, like everything else. Here, Maybin waiting just long enough to get as much money as possible, but not so long as to endanger his chances of playing this year. Plus he got to miss training camp. Good for him. I’m surprised more players don’t wait until this time of year to sign.
Crabtree, on the other hand, is just an egomaniacal toolbag.
Do I know what rhetorical means?

What's a toolbag?
Is that akin to a doucheabag?

hehe yah something like that
it’s what you call someone when you’re not sure about the range of the anti-profanity rules. I had douchebag written at first, but reconsidered. :-)

Is d-bag really profanity though?
We really need a list of what is over the line or not.

Crabtree was holding everything up
The guys behind Mayhem signed but Crabtree hadn’t (still hasn’t) signed yet, so they were waiting for a ceiling on what they could get.

Poz and Maybin together should be pretty interesting
Too bad Buffalo’s gonna eat turf this season. Them and Oakland and the Jets and the Texans.

Texans will break .500
Count on it.
