I can't wait for
the first time Stupar runs down field completely unblocked on a kick return and just wrecks someone.
Also, I had forgotten just how thoroughly we whipped Wisconsin in Happy Valley 2 years ago. Thank you.

THANK YOU SIR MAY I HAVE ANOTHER!

Send this to Syracuse
Someone needs to send this to Syracuse because a guy that hasn’t played football in years is about to step into Happy Valley in 3 weeks and have to face this team.
I can’t wait until LaVarro takes care of things and makes the game a human highlight reel

Random thoughts:
-I don’t remember any of those good plays against USC. I know it doesn’t matter because they had like 2,000 passing yards, but we only gave up 61 on the ground.
-That Lee strip on the one yard line is one of my favorite plays of all time.
-That busted michigan state play is almost as entertaining.
-Man it must suck to be Purdue and know you can’t even run for a one yard gain. Ever.
-Michigan was really bad last year.
-No iowa highlights please. Thank you.
-We didn’t get enough credit for owning Oregon State.
-Nice find RUTS.

Funny how we both can't remember highlights vs USC
but we really did hold “tailback U” to incredible lack of yardage, if only they were a one dimensional offense…
I remember watching that Lee recovery and thinking, there is no way that stands. He was essentially sitting on the goal line and the ball fell into his hands. Easiest recovery ever. The only downside was that we were pinned in the endzone with QB14 at the helm, which was not good (better than a Purdue TD, yes, good for my nerves, no).
And that Bowman hit on Hoyer will always be a favorite of mine, you could almost see the big smile on his face when he saw an unblocked Hoyer preparing to throw the ball. I could almost guarantee that’s the last time anyone ever tries that play on us again.

USC
Yeah i dont remember any of that. Alcohol was definitely a factor but I think my mind has blocked out most of it.

Same here, on both accounts.
Once USC figured out that there was no point in running the ball, it was over. (Clearly, we should have let them rush for more yards in the first half.)

yeah... you should have been there...
it was sooo much worse being surrounded by SC fans while Sanchez was able to script his damn draft highlight reel against us… bad memories man… bad memories

Bowman
has either an incredible first step @ the snap, or one heck-of-a(n) anticipation for the snapcount / &/or cadense….or (d) all of the above!

Before the Mauti injury
I was thinking I wanted Lee at MLB with Mauti and Bowman on the outside. But Lee belongs outside. Regardless, the point is moo. But I think with Bowman and Lee flanking him, and our nasty DTs in front of him, we should be ok with Hull in the middle. Depsite what the TAP board would have us believe.

"Regardless, the point is moo."
That sounded waaaaaaay too country.

THAT WAS AWESOME
I loved Bowman’s perfect wrap and drive tackle on Shonn Greene at the end, but my favorite was definitely Mauti trying to break the Wisky QB in half at 2:59.

Always loved the Hayes hit on Claussen from '07
Can’t wait to see more from his this fall, I was real disappointed when he got the cheap shot last year in the Oregon State game.

based on this
I’d guess that we must have beaten USC!
Seriously, this was well done and a good appetizer to the season ahead.

How hard did the producer of this video have to search for Hull highlights?

Stupar needs more time...he is a wrecking ball out there!
The 2009 defense will be better than the 2008 defense. It is more athletic and it has Jack Crawford’s head vein!

does Crawford get assists for tackles made by the vein?

More importantly
does it need to burn a scholarship to receive those assists or solo tackles?
