New Blog: Anonymous Eagle covering Marquette!

I came across this tidbit of PSU football history. Dad (Dick Pae) was on this flight, funny how he NEVER, EVER mentioned it.

Cool story

How about Missouri going 6-4 (I think that league was only the Big 7 back then!) and going to the Orange Bown (and losing) and Penn State going 8-2 before having to play in the Liberty Bowl against Alabama (and winning).

That was a Numero Uno year for Syracuse and we also got upset by Pitt ( back when we played almost every year in Pittsburgh). So, we couldn’t go to a Major Bowl.

Nice
Twice Missouri drove into Penn State territory, only to have Phil
Snowden intercepted – first by Galen Hall and then by Jim Kerr.
