If each Big Ten Team was a Sitcom What Would It Be?
Hey guys, this is my first post, but this blog that I came across was pretty funny so I figured I'd share it with you the bacon lovers and faithful readers of BSD.
The blog contains some pretty funny quotes like this one about a former dorm mate who encountered Aaron Maybin coming out of the shower
"A friend saw him getting out of the shower at his dorm during his Freshman year and described Maybin's pecs as "two nicely shaped hams"
And this post where he compares Iowa and the tv show "JAG"
Name one person you know who used liked Jag; you can't, because they don't exist. In its 7th season it had 14 million viewers and I knew like two people who had ever seen an episode. In the same way, I know there's Iowa fans but don't know how they could ever like Iowa.
Feel Free to leave comments about which sitcom each Big Ten team would be and thanks for giving me some of your time. Keep enjoying Bacon!
Thanks for the fanpost! Please do not post any content from a premium site that requires a subscription. Also, if you just want to share a link, quote, or video, please consider using fanshots instead. Thanks.

Iowa
The mom died, leaving a boring dad (Ferentz) and a boring uncle (Ken O’Keefe) to raise a bunch of drunks.
DO YOU HAVE PRIDE, DANNY?
Wow that blog needs some editing
The first sentence confuses Fonzie’s “jumping the shark” episode from Happy Days with Cheers? WTF?
And there are numerous spelling and grammar mistakes (I don’t really care about these types of mistakes compared to content mistakes, but they still exist).
Also, while the premise was ok, the execution came across as lazy. It seems some of the shows the author didn’t even watch or know anything about, but wrote about them and compared them to a team (who they knew equally as little about). I know it is just a blog and someone’s pasttime, and perhaps I’m spoiled with BSD and BHGP, but it can definitely use some work.
Never even heard of it

You never saw this bird?

"For me the game wasn’t grounded in reality. It was about the uniform you put on that turned you into a warrior. It was about the mythology of the battle, the victory, the defeat, the struggle." - Mike Reid, PSU '69
Of course, in the show she looked more like this

"For me the game wasn’t grounded in reality. It was about the uniform you put on that turned you into a warrior. It was about the mythology of the battle, the victory, the defeat, the struggle." - Mike Reid, PSU '69
