Someone was listening....
For those of us that do not like the "Pumped in Music" at the game, our prayers were heard. At today's game, I noticed that the music between plays and during breaks in the action was primarily from the Blue Band. They still played some music over the PA system. I was satisfied to hear more of the Blue Band. We didn't lose "Living on a Prayer" yet. The band picked up the slack with that one.
It would be nice to think someone was paying attention to your complaints and decided they were valid.

Interesting
They stop playing the music…and Graham Zug has a career day.
Coincidence? I think not.

Just got home.
I also noticed this, they did a nice job this afternoon…well done PSU.
Our WR’s are huge compared to the old smurfs and Zug catches EVERYTHING.

First quarter
was so ridiculously over the top with the piped in music that it just seemed like less after that.

Keep singin it sista!
There was a funny line in a recent Simmons column about the NFL gameday banner on tweeting, something to the effect of: ‘did you ever think we would see the day when we asked professional athletes to stop writing?’

ESPN
We need to fix them next. I can not stand that lame, whiney Dave Matthews Band song they are using. Is it a college football game or a scrapbooking party? AWFUL.

Actually
maybe it was just me, but I thought the piped in music was just as bad as the Akron game.
twice the music ruined a good “We are” chant. The second time just as it got going some idiot in the booth starts play “my girl” b/c it got sunny for a few seconds “i got sunshine on a cloudy day” oh HAHAHA how clever! I WAS NOT AMUSED.

And don't forget
the celebratory “WOO-HOO” played after Syracuse intercepted the ball. Inexcusable. Pay attention for Christ’s sake.

Agree...
Thouhgt it was much better. Also, it seems that the volume was not as high, so it did not pierce my skull like it did last week. There were even a few quiet moments, which was welcome. Overall, I thought they did a good job.
