Collegian Writer
So I'm reading the article in the Collegian today about how there was a glitch in the ticket system and people could get in as long as they had an ID even if it wasn't theirs, and I come across this sentence: "Some students noticed that swiping their card at the booth was barely necessary." Barely necessary? Barely necessary. Could have said hardly necessary, or, was unnecessary, both of which would have worked better in this situation. So now this begs the question.... where are you closet BSD going collegian staff writer Laura Nichols?! I know you're out there, admit it. Come on, there is no way this was just a coincidence, no way, I'm at least 12% sure.
Thanks for the fanpost! Please do not post any content from a premium site that requires a subscription. Also, if you just want to share a link, quote, or video, please consider using fanshots instead. Thanks.

Worked for me
a friend went out of town and I borrowed his ID to give to my friend from Syracuse. Don’t tell anybody.
NittanyWhiteOut.com. Arguably the second best Penn State blog I know of.
Did you:
(1) swipe the card at the gate?
(2) barely swipe the card at the gate?
(3) lose 13-6 at the gate?

Well
We showed the card at the entrance to the serpentines, and then they had the same “swipe” machines that weren’t hooked up at the gate, so they just handed you your ticket.

Only a crazy person would have a poll that supports himself…
Your poll should include Zug, by the way.

The Collegian
They all read BSD. I have been told this. In fact, I have been told that all the PSU beat writers around PA check BSD daily, but few would admit it.

Great
Now we’ll see some breaking news about a PSU Snuggie in tomorrow’s Daily Collegian. HOW ABOUT SOURCING US?
True Story
I caught a MSM writer plagiarizing me once. Of course, when I emailed him about it he denied it. Said he only read BSD “once or twice” and it was a “very nice blog”.

You caught
a Morehouse School of Medicine writer plagiarizing you? Wow, impressive.
P.S. I’m so naive I’m not sure what MSM is supposed to stand for so I yahoo’d it… and still don’t know.. lol

I don't think they have that in Milroy

Such a presence
Would be a veritable affront to the very fabric of being to which the dear people of Milroy cling so tightly!
Verily, an abomination.

Doesn't surprise me
After reading BSD for the past three years, its been obvious that Collegian writers must read your stuff. You can just tell by their style and some of the arguments they make. You’ll say something and then a day or two later a story saying essentially the same thing will appear.
Let's Go State
I confess
It’s me. My real name is Laura Nichols. And I’m a BSDholic.

I can’t even claim a ‘big city’ like Williamsport or Scranton… but most of Tioga County was part of the 717 when I was born.

I don’t know how to do it on the interwebs. I could do it myself, but I don’t know how to load a picture from my computer to BSD, if it’s even possible, and frankly I don’t want to know anyway, I’m too lazy to do it.
Sorry.

OK, ignore the first part about not knowing how to do it (although I didn’t know which sites to use), and just focus on the latter part.
