Sympathy For The Devil
Bad times in Ohio, as Senator Tressel's inbox melts:
"So, you know, honestly, the thing when I read some of them is, I feel terrible for them because there's no way they're happy. They've got to be some of the most unhappy people in the world, and I feel bad because we just made them less happy. And I hate to be a part of making someone less happy. I mean, they're already miserable and to make them less happy, I'd feel bad."
These things happen to coaches who lose a big game and know how to download a jar of peanut butter. Perhaps Tressel should solicit a little internets advice from Mr. Paterno.

Picture is irrelevant, but still cool.

Sweet Zug they're touchy
jesse. makes one comment, and the next thing some tool starts lighting into him… then the Meatchicken fans come and join the fray. We should bronze that thread and have it for display any time anybody calls us whiners.

What’s funny is that the Michigan guy started it. He had no idea they were going to lose to Toledo…

The funniest thing about the Meatchicken fans...
They’re the ones who brought up Appalachian State, then they start crying about how we always bring up Appalachian State… and of course they’re either too lazy or ignorant or stupid to actually write out ‘Appalachian’.

You've got to be a real winner
to actually send an angry note to the coach after a loss.

Come On, Ohio, Cheer Up!
There’s plenty for the people of Ohio to be happy about, at least in Cleveland there is…

I like WWAHT's take:
My thoughts: 1) E-mailing your concerns to the coach is incredibly naive. 2) I don’t fault Tressel at all for pitying those who e-mail him panicked all-caps e-mails demanding the hiring of a new offensive coordinator. 90 percent of the people who bother to do this haven’t played a down of football in their lives. 3) I’m glad to see just a bit of ‘tude from the Senator. Nine years dealing with one of the most fickle, demanding fanbases in the country, and he hasn’t had one outburst. That is commendable.
