We got to do what the Steelers did last year
The Steelers line BLEW last year, but we had a lot of screens, roll outs, and brought Heath in the backfield. It’ll be nice to see Penn State do that this year
Whats been the impression?
Has it been as sloppy as it sounds from the comments and the 3 plays ive been able to see?
Ive been spending the first half getting the ‘missing overflow channels’ problem worked out with my cable company (Charter). Turns out the main BTN channel is in their regular package, but the overflows are in the ‘sports tier’. Maybe thats what other companies are doing as well.

I've only seen the second quarter
but Eliades and Troutman appear to be a better combination at guard for the run game. If they stay with it and improve for another week, I think we can handle Iowa at home. Not convinced yet that we don’t lose 3 games this year, but not sure Iowa is one of them.

We do not look good throwing the ball. Pass protecting hasn’t been great like the past couple games. Hopefully we can get some more points and get Newsome reps. After this game, Eastern Illinois will be the only other game (maybe Indiana) that he plays in. And with Alabama away next year, Kevin needs some serious reps.
I know its looking ahead, but unlike Clark, he will be a true soph making his debut, not a 22 year old redshirt junior

I think that temple
is concentrating on the pass more than Akron or Syracuse did.

Newsome looked awful, then got benched last week. Watch McGloin get the second team reps today, if any. Keep in mind, Temple outplayed us most of the half.

Outplayed
seems like a bit much. Outplayed their and maybe our teams expectations of how tough they should play. Maybe you and I are defining outplayed differently.
I’m more worried about what Sneak pointed out here, that Clark is getting hit too much. That might be the blueprint for how to shake us up, knock him on his butt.

So they are keeping in the pocket, which is getting him killed. They should just let him move, and I think we’d be okay.

If anything, McGloin will get a shot before the true frosh qbs we have coming next year. McGloin isn’t bad, it would have been nice to have Devlin. Either way, gotta focus on this year and who is in the mix

I actually feel pretty positive about today's performance.
They’re young and making a lot of mistakes, but the do seem like they’re almost to the point where they can put a complete game together. Hopefully it will be next week at Iowa.

I’ve listened to a couple games this year online through WKOK in Sunbury, but I have lots of buffering issues with it on Windows Media Player. Is there a better, free, online source to listen to the game on?
My ex is at the game, rooting for Temple. Granted, he was a grad assistant for Temple but why does he get to go to Beaver Stadium this year and I can’t?

And we’ve had a bit of trouble running off of right tackle so far this year. Coincidence?

and just been stuffed, and he couldn’t get off a block on an 11 yard run. The blitzes are not his fault, the coaches insist on continuing to send him. That said, he is getting smarter and not getting sealed off as much. But once he does he’s out of the play.
