College Gameday Celebrity Picker Nominations
The College Gameday Twitter page (@GameDayFootball) is accepting nominations for the show's "celebrity picker" of the games this Saturday. Last week for Texas/Texas Tech, it was Lance Armstrong.
I was thinking for this week, it would be great for us Penn Staters to showcase a rising star and a fine young man at our University – none other than All-Big Ten point guard TALOR BATTLE.
So if you have Twitter, nominate Talor to @GameDayFootball for this week's celebrity picker!
If you don't have Twitter, sign up and do it!
Thanks for the fanpost! Please do not post any content from a premium site that requires a subscription. Also, if you just want to share a link, quote, or video, please consider using fanshots instead. Thanks.

Word
That would be awesome!

Plus
You know he would be perfect at picking the winners.

I like the Talor Battle Idea
Get the rising b-ball team a little pub.
I also like the Cael Sanderson idea a lot.
My guess would be that it ends up with a former beloved player;
LaVar, Cappy, Franco Harris, M-Rob, the OG Reading Rambler, Shane Conlan, P-Pos.
Other Ideas:
Adam McKay: (Alumnus) Director of such films as Talladega Nights and Anchorman.
SuePa
Russ Rose
The entire Women’s Fencing Team.
I say get the Hulk. Apparently he is the most famous fictitious character to have gone to Penn State.(via wikipedia)

"Everyone has a plan, until they get punched in the mouth."
Or Jonathan Frakes
He played Commander Riker a.k.a. “#1” on Star Trek TNG (and a DawsonPSU10 fun fact, he graduated the same year as my dad)
I’d like to see Cappy though. We never really see much of him now that he’s retired.

And of course I completely forgot
I just saw him last year when he came back last year when we honored the 1973 undefeated team.

What number did the Hulk wear?
Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.
Vince Lombardi
He wears 43.

Lisa Salters
would be an obvious choice…though she very well may be covering the game

she shall be
sideline reporter for ABC nat’l game.
NittanyWhiteOut.com. Arguably the second best Penn State blog I know of.
She barely ever lets her
PSU roots show. However on the wrap up show on Saturday night they were lining up helmets for the top 5. Herbie was calling them out and Lisa Salters was putting them in place. When he got to #4 he called PSU. She picked up the helmet and faked to putting it at #1 before settling on the 4 slot.

That would be very cool. I hear he is a hot shot lawyer now or something? Does anyone know if that is true?

Yep
He’s a lawyer now, I think he graduated from Rutgers Law about 3 yrs ago.

Yeah he is working in Philly
he calls in to the sports talk show on WIP every Friday to break down the football game and give his prediction
How could Nixon know so little about Watergate and so much about football ?
Thats cool.
The clip of him running with the team out of the tunnel gives me chills. I think he would make a great motivational speaker if the team needs a pep talk.

that was an awesome game to be at
(until it started) I read somewhere that the noise was so loud it gave him the rush to be able to run and to this day that was the only time he was able to run and that the doctors can’t explain it

Matt Millen
He could spend his entire time on camera talking up Tater Force.

Ed Rendell, perhaps?
Hell- if he’s got the time to do the CSN Iggles wrapup show, he’s got time for Gameday.

No
It would be someone who isn’t trying to cut PSU out of the state budget only to be told by the Fed’s that we must be included (this isn’t trying to be political, I used to like him)
Yeah, that's my gut feeling as well
He is the most “celebrity”-like out of all our former standouts. I also do not see twwl thinking outside the box and picking Sanderson.
