Jordan Norwood to E-A-G-L-E-S

Jordan Norwood is on his way to Philadelphia for a work out with the Philadelphia Eagles. Don't expect him to be catching passes from Donovan McNabb any time soon though. It looks as though Norwood is just filling a gap on the practice squad for now.

Good luck to him as he continues to try and land an NFL job! Hey, practice squad players still make some decent cash as well.

Norwood was cut by the Cleveland Browns before the season started.

normally a Nittany Lion getting cut is bad news

but who wants to see one of our proud boys play for those bums in cleveland?

as do I unfortunately

they are probably the worst team in the nfl so far this season, it sucks that they completely ended Jurevicius’ career and that they cut Norwood. But hey, maybe they’ll draft Zug after he wins the Zugsman

Eagles will switch Jordan to

Kicker and when he can’t get the job done, they will cut him…

highly unlikely

I’m gonna take that as a shot at the eagles because of what they did to Tony Hunt. Tony Hunt should be glad they moved him to FB because I hate to say it but that was the only way he was going to see the field. The Eagles had B-West, Buckhalter, Booker, and Ryan Moats at the time. He was buried on the depth chart so they gave him a shot at FB and didn’t work. Had he not been moved he would have got cut a year earlier.

Speaking of Hunt...

Any news if he’s signed on anywhere else?

Well, if so, at least he has a job

However, I propose that BSD members raise enough money, sponsorships, etc, to pay Tony Hunt to run an anti-SEC hype blog. I can’t think of anyone more qualified.

I don't see how he will make the team

considering they just cut a WR (Baskett) to make room for Jeff Garcia as 2nd string QB while McNabb is injured.

But even so, best of luck to Norwood.

This Garcia signing makes me wonder why they signed Vick in the first place.

they needed a second qb last week

Mcnabb was out, Vick was not eligible yet, kolb was their only qb. They would have signed AJ Feeley again but the panthers signed him 1st

Eagles lost a WR from the practice squad

Amendola, Danny WR PHI

News: The St. Louis Rams have signed WR Danny Amendola, the team announced Tuesday. To make room on the roster for Amendola the Rams waived WR Derek Stanley. Amendola was signed from the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad. A Texas Tech product, Amendola entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with the Dallas Cowboys in 2008.

dehind calvin johnson on the depth chart

deon is in seattle, sitting behind TJ Hoskhjskjhaf or Nate Burleson.

i read on LJ Sr.‘s twitter that Mo Evans got signed by the Bucs…but i couldn’t find any proof of that.

also, if you’re interested…maybin lost his starter status after an absolutely TERRIBLE performance on monday night against the patriots. like…so bad that the announcers actually showed replays during the game of him getting man handled.

Mo Evans is on the 53 man Bucs roster, no PT yet I don't believe.

At least, he is listed on ESPN as being on the bucs.
