PrintNow that I got your attention I just wanted get a discussion going about multiple related topics.
1 Kyle Prater chooses USC over Illinois
I guess we won't have to worry about seeing Aurelius Benn II coming into Happy Valley and tearing up our secondary.
2 On another note, Villanova and Temple renew their rivalry in the City of Brotherly Love tonight. There's always the Happy Valley connection with Golden and D'Onofrio and many of us also root for Temple when they're not getting their heads bashed in by our Nits. If anyone can find a tv listing for this game that would be great!
3 Last but not least (figuratively and literally) we have our first Big Ten team taking the gridiron tonight when Indiana meets mighty Eastern Kentucky. Hopefully the Hoosiers won't embarass the conference by losing tonight. Thankfully this game will appear only on the Big Ten Network so if they do lose it'll be our little secret. :-)

Comcast has the Phils at 7pm
and then at 11 the Penn State Football Story!!!! No Temple but I haven’t caught the latest football story yet so I guess I’ll have to stay up until 12 tonight. Isn’t the PSU Football Story online somewhere?

I just signed up for the BTN this week and I’ve missed it on the other channels. I can’t freakin wait!!!!
I love the first few days of the season when all the games are bad but you don’t care because you’re so excited to see football again.

I’d pop the popcorn and plump myself in front of the tv for the night just to watch Albright v Kutztown at this point. I can’t believe that live and meaningful college football will be on my television screen tonight!!! Usually I never watch other teams but after many months of living without football, I am jonesing and ready for a score!!!

I always think it’s the former who played in “My Bodyguard” when it was really this guy.

D’Onofrio is awesome. Gomer Pyle, Edgar/Alien in Edgar suit, and now Detective Goren.
The other guy is just a throw-in anytime they need someone to wear an Army or Air Force captain’s dress uniform.

Anyone think Nova can pull the upset tonight?
I think Nova is #5 in the preseason D1-AA polls so they’re highly thought of. I hope not because that’ll bring our SOS down even more! Also, Temple and Golden have been recruiting Reading High in recent years so I wanna see my fellow Red Knights do well.
