Next time I'm sad, I'm asking someone to brush my teeth for me. Joe knows something we all don't, it must be uplifting.

Joe is

Who we thought he is.

Is there a reason...

that he couldn’t have simply said “I don’t know, you’d have to ask him”.

I'd heard about that clip for a day or so and hadn't heard/seen it yet.

Joe Paterno is no dummy. He knows that’s a local reporter’s question. It doesn’t take much for him to say, “no, we haven’t talked about it, but he’s a good player from a good family, etc.”

That’s a shitty way for any head coach to act, really.

Wow

You’re still pretty low. I’ll be curious to see what we get not only from the players and coaches going forward, but what we get from RUTS as well.

Are you happy? Are you happy?

Me? I'm over it.

Seriously. In my 20’s, I’d be devastated for a week. Now, I’m done with after a day or two.

It depends on the game

I’ll be devasted for a week if we lose to Michigan.

I totally disagree.

It’s a dumbass, worthless question and you can tell by the fact that the answer doesn’t make a damn bit of difference. Nobody cares if Suhey is “happy” to be playing in the state of Illinois. If Suhey IS happy, nobody cares. If Suhey ISN’t happy, nobody cares.

The jourbalist was asking a question just to ask a question. It was pointless, and Joe stomped on him. The Lesson: have a point when you ask a question.

If you’re going to ask Joe a worthless question (which this one was, imo), at least ask him if he prefers spaghetti and meatballs or lasagna. Or red wine or white wine with dinner. At least you’ll have a better chance of getting a Joe story.

The question or the story isn't for your consumption.

It’s obviously a local Illinois reporter asking a question for a story he’s planning to write about Suhey coming back home. Joe handled rudely, and for no reason.
