3,000 yards
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Daryll Clark became Penn State's first ever 3,000 yard passer today. He had 2787 yards going into the game, and threw for 216, which gives him 3,003 on the season. He already held the single season passing yards record coming into the game (if I'm not mistaken), so that would make him the first (in our history) to throw for 3,000 yards in a season... No one seems to be making a big deal about this, which makes me feel like I'm missing something.

It's significant and all...
But he is also one of the first to benefit from a 12 game regular season.
In the same vein
If Evan Royster comes back for his senior season he’ll become Penn State’s all time leading rusher. Maybe we’ll waste all of December 2010 wondering what his lagacy we’ll be too.
Just keep swimin'...
I dunno, I think it is kind of neat. Like reaching 500 HRs, its inflated and means nothing really, just a number to point to
To be fair, he already had the single season record before the bowl game. So, if you take out the bowl, he still had more yards in = number of games as Blackledge and Collins. It may not matter much, but I predicted this before the season/after the first game or 2 and people said there was no way he could keep up the pace.
