Hollidaysburg H.S. coach Mick Pentoney melts down after a victory over State College H.S. -- his team won! -- and blasts Ed DeChellis, Taran Buie, Buie (and Talor Battle's) mother, and generally accuses Penn State of misconduct involving the move of Buie and his family from Albany to State College. Pentoney has been suspended for one game.

300 word article

and not one of them was an actual quote from this guy. What did he actually say?

"We hugged as grown men do. It was a great moment. Then, it was business as usual." -- LJ Sr.

also, I love local newspaper's website comments. Nothing beats Penn Live, but still

this stuff isn’t too far off

If the parents would discipline their children you would see the whole school district change!!
Cause you get alot more govt assistance and sympathy with 6 kids than with none. Also note every child has a different last name, as does she. Must have been Hunting for Mr GoodBar.
Suspended? For that! Sure, if you suspect something, it’s not wise to say it publically, but seriously, are the PC police still controlling speach? You gotta admit, her story is a little shakey. If you’re so employable, why are you living in your jeep? This is America. The government will take care of you if you can’t do it yourself.

Full Quote

Outstanding: "He (DeChellis) can’t win the NCAA, so he’s bringing kids in to win the PIAA,‘’ Pentoney said. "I hope only the worst.’’

“I just recognized what’s going on. It’s powers in America that’s job is to justify things. I’m just a high school basketball coach that says two plus two equals four. It doesn’t equal five,‘’ Pentoney said. "I just look at the timeline. He picks Penn State, and they move to State College. If it looks like a fish and smells like a fish, I think it’s a fish. Somebody’s trying to tell me it’s chicken.

“It’s not healthy for scholastic sports.’’

This totally makes sense....

DeChellis must be focusing on the PIAAs and hasn’t had time to coach his own team….hence why we suck so much. Seriously, can you imagine following an NIT Championship with a PIAA Championship!?!?!? Eat your heart out Calipari.

Seriously!

This coach can get a two piece Fish N More meal, and add a chicken plank if he feels so inclined. Why not have both?

break out the tin foil hats

this was all a ploy by State College High school, to get ED to bring Penn State to the NIT so that Taran Buie would commit and THEN move to State college to dominate the PIAA…while losing to Hollidaysburg….wait….I think my genius plan is falling apart.

FISH!!!!

CHICKEN!!!!

Won’t somebody think of the children!?!?!?!?!
