Michigan St. leaving Big Ten in 2010?
Wandering over to ESPN I was surprised to find the following on their college football page:
Source: espn.com
Now there's a chance that it's a simple error and that they placed the wrong text and hyperlinks with the correct image. But, since we're talking about Michigan State I think it far more likely that they left the league and no-one noticed since no one cares about Sparty. Obvious conclusions follow:
1) That's one hell of a coup by the Sun Belt!
2) No wonder Delaney is talking expansion. We'd hate to see a ten-team Big Ten.
3) How bad will MSU's Patented Late Season Collapse(TM) look when it comes against a November slate of North Texas, MTSU, and the Rajun Cajuns?
4) At least we can retire the Land Grant Trophy.
...and what's with this "non-aq" stuff? Somewhere I bet A.Q. Shipley is peeved!

Huh?
You realize that picture is not of Michigan State, but of some High School team right?
Just keep swimin'...
Well in fairness
A degree from MSU is basically the same as a high school diploma.

Let's put it this way
The final score from our last two meetings would lead you to believe they are already a C USA team.

Not to John Bruno this moment.
But didn’t the Bismarck get sunk a few days later?

Yes.
The 2009 Rose Bowl was equivalent to torpedo bombers, HMS King George V, HMS Suffolk, HMS Norfolk, etc.

No.
That would mean our own ship sank and we had to take theirs. I don’t want MSU’s stuff. It smells of riots and thuggery.

I think that's Jake Heaps
He went the high school right near where I grew up. Was the #1 rated QB and is going to BYU.
You know what would be extremely interesting to me, to go off on a really strange tangent,
Watching a BYU football game party/get together thing, and having BYU have a really, really disappointing loss. What is the atmosphere like when there’s no cursing, no booze (hell, not even any caffeine), and the Osmonds are playing in the background?
And the better question: do I really want to see this?
I'd think you DO want to see this
Plus, the mormon women can be super hawt in their relative purity. The abstinence from all those devil products leaves them pretty amped up for touching and feeling activities.

It all starts when you spend
millions of dollars and several years to let Nike rework your Logo and it ends up looking like a high school rip off of your current one. You almost have to look or a new start elsewhere.
One man doing the work of 100's for the good of 1000's
this whole thing makes me lol
they probably ended up paying millions to the “branding experts” alone. I went through a rebranding at my company. A year of research, millions in fees to various agencies and we ended up just changing the color of our logo.
so then you spend more millions on signage, stationery, etc.
