Mike Hull Playing Right Now
Mike Hull and Team USA are playing right now on NFL Network. He's taking part in the Team USA vs. The World game, which is in conjunction with the NFL's Pro Bowl week. Somehow the game is tied 0-0. Suprisingly, The World team is playing well together as a unit, while Team USA looks like all talent, no chemistry.
Hull's played very well so far. He just forced critical fumble at midfield. He's been getting consistent pressure on The World's QB a few times, and coming up with a lot of tackles. Yesterday, Hull was selected as one of the four captains.
Hull selected as Captain of Team USA
Check out the game if you're free. It's actually pretty good.
UPDATE: Hull just intercepted the World Team in the endzone.

Color Me Unimpressed
I’ve seen enough of Mike Hull and his Canon-Mac defense getting its ass handed to it by the high flying Bethel Park Black Hawks the last couple years.
God Created the World Out Of Nothing, Paterno Built A National Superpower On Cow Fields...
Hull best defensive player in the game...
I turned the game on after half and Hull has been impressive. He’s been in on 3 out of every 4 plays and just made a diving interception. Apparently he also has a forced fumble. I know the competition isn’t the best but he’s gonna be a heck of a run stopper for us in a couple years. The commentators are very impressed and agree with his #1 MLB and OVERALL LB rating (not sure if one commentator is from scouts or rivals).

Easly
the player of the game. As noted above… one forced fumble and a pick, pretty impressive. Although, I’m still waiting for Deion Sanders to stop talking about these Florida RB recruits and at least acknowledge Hull’s game.

This has probably come up before, so forgive me if this has been asked
but is he in any way related to the Hullstache? (Yes, smartasses, I know that at some level we’re all related to each other, we just need to go back far enough) But he kind of looks like Hullstache, but I wasn’t sure if the name and looks were just crazy coincidence, or if all Hulls were just reckless lady slayers.
Maybe
it’s coincidence, but where I come from all of the Hulls are related, ya know.

thankfully
though if he’s half as good a kid, with that talent, we could have something special.

OH MY GOD DARYLL CLARK STOLE DEVON'S LOGIN

In order for that to happen
I’d have to be a great poster in threads that don’t matter, but as soon as you’re looking to me for a clutch comment, I fall flat.

It's ok Rambler, he's back
apparently he must have been drunk or high when he wrote that other post.
Yup, yup.
Also, LSU game was not a “clutch” performance.
Also, if we had lost to Michigan in 2008 or Northwestern last season, I’m sure Devon would look back on those games as “games that don’t matter”, right?

Let me say this:
For me, the bowls are glorified exhibition games. I mean, I went, and I cheered my ass off for Penn State, but had we lost, I could’ve shrugged it off easy. Not so with the Iowa and Ohio State games. And no, I don’t blame Clark solely for those, but you can’t tell me his performance was anywhere near acceptable in either of the Iowa games.
Had Clark played well, or even decent (you know, 13-23, 160 yards, 0 td, 0 int, not a good game, but not one that’ll kill you) I wouldn’t give him so much grief.
If we were to lose against Michigan in 2008, if would’ve been because we couldn’t stop Brandon Minor. In 2009, Kafka was tearing us up. Daryll wasn’t the problem in either game.

I do.
Because it’s fun because you’re so wrong.

Oh, don’t give me that. The people who blame Clark for the Ohio State game and claim the bowl game didn’t matter wouldn’t blame him for losing to Michigan and Northwestern. Sure.

I wouldn't
I don’t blame Clark for the Ohio State loss. You’ll notice I never bring that up. That one wasn’t his fault. The Iowa games were. Although we would’ve still won in ‘08 if the refs hadn’t called a ridiculous PI on Scirrotto.

Still so wrong.
Despite Clark’s poor performance last season, I’m pretty sure we were still in the lead in the 4th quarter. But then Clark – the choke artist – whiffed on blocking Clayborn.
Also, blaming Clark for 2008? Weak, Devon. So very weak. That game falls squarely on the coaching staff for protecting a concussed quarterback with Williams instead of playing Devlin. And, still, Clark didn’t give up the game winning drive, did he? And the “ridiculous” PI call? Clark’s fault. Coaches screwing around with timeouts? Clark’s fault.

Keep the foot on the snake!
"We just forgot our pants. Nothing against the team or anything like that." -- take a guess
It's just so boring in winter.
At least the Pens won. I guess.

Come on, now
I’m trying to be rational here, not blame Clark for everything. 12/32 with 3 picks is not good. After the first pass, he was 11/31 for 118 yards and 3 picks. That’s not going to win you a whole lot of football games. I had little confidence in winning that game, even up 10-5 at the half

Hull won MVP.
