I have no idea how to start this off, actually. I sort of wish I thought of that before I summoned up the nerve to post, but oh well. I'm a freshman at Penn State, and have very quickly fallen in love with our football program. Not just because of (despite some disappointing losses) a lovely season, but because of how classy our program is.
Between the "Oh, Did I Forget To Mention That Notre Dame Thing To You Guys? My Bad. Good Luck With The Whole Sugar Bowl Thing" and the ever-so-lovely "Oh, Come On, It Was Just An Innocent Eye-Gouge", I'm insanely grateful for our players (most of them, at any rate) for their maturity and our coach for having standards.
A couple of my friends and I have discussed pulling something together in tribute of Joe, and we like the idea of "lighting up" Nittany Mountain (i.e., getting a bunch of people to stand on the mountain, giving them flashlights, and telling them to point up.) The posters here are honest and hilarious, and I just wanted some opinions.
By the by, when I said you guys are honest and hilarious, I wasn't just kissing up so you guys would be nice. I've spent the better part of two days reading these posts. So, when anyone asks me why I've spent my Christmas break doing absolutely nothing, I'm blaming it on the Hate Week: Everything post.
