ESPN says TP overrated
From the article: His numbers may look gaudy at first glance, but a closer look at them and the real reasons he is among the frontrunners for this award shows that Pryor may be the most overrated player in college football.
Guess you need Insider to read it, but we already know what it will say.

ESPN probably followed that up with a "Joe Paterno is Old" article.
Eating stickies with Rick Neuheisel at the Corner Room since 2005.....
No way.
The comparison would be a “Paterno Is Young And Runs Most Explosive Offense In CFB” article. ESPN calling Pryor overrated is unpossible! Although since Golden Boy Robinson showed up, Pryor has played second fiddle.

All it says is that he feasted on 4 terrible defenses for an amazing QB rating and looked very average against Miami and Illinois. Thus, his numbers are skewed.

I am sooooo tired....
of hearing and reading about TP and his Props Machine…..good for tWWL for actually making some sense of a situation. The only time I will consider anything about TP is when they finally get the “goods” on him regarding recruitment process and the payoffs that have been made regarding same….we just may have to wait for it to come out when and if he graduates/leaves tO$U or it may come out sooner while this story is fresh according to the SI article this week.
So thats why they smell so bad...

"I have my Joe Paterno autograph already, but I don’t know that I’d begrudge anybody else from getting theirs no matter their age. That’s kind of like meeting Winston Churchill." jesse. @ BSD
I think tWWL is posturing to try and make OSU out to be an undefeated mediocre team.
try and keep them out of the MNC game. They want Oregon baaaaad in that game with their good friend Knight at Nike cheering them on. I would bet you will see them work for a nebraska/oregon game if all three are undefeated.
If it is a Nebraska OSU game
can we just call it the Beta Big Ten Championship Game?

Every once in awhile tWWL
surprises you.
I almost wrecked my car when Chris Fowler was on the SVP show yesterday and SVP was talking about Alabama chances to get to the title game. Fowler just unleashes this – "Since when has Alabama been given a birthright to be in the title game – they lost – unless everyone else loses too, they don’t deserve to go. /shocking (not really, Fowler’s pretty level).
Then Fowler proceeded to say the SEC is pretty ordinary this year and chances are will not be represented in the BCS championship. Good segment.
