Damn. Gotta board a plane soon.

Fying Continental so it’d be great if this was one of the new planes with the DirecTV in the seatbacks.

Flight down wasn’t, so I’m not holding my breath. Continental sucks.

Ahhhh My Groin!

That’s what I yelled on McGloin’s TD and INT. Exactly as I’d intended if Millzner’s master plan came to fruition. Hate to say it, but McGloin has a lot of that QB14 f—- it I’m going deep attitude.

Concussion doesn’t surprise me. Maybe it’s just cause I’ve seen too many lately as an Eagles fan, but he definitely looked like he had concussion symptoms based on his movements and what happened after that play.

It'd be nice if Bradley would adjust to personnel...

Go to a 3-4 or a 3-3-5 and roll up the safeties/corners. If our LB’s aren’t physical enough to stop this run in a 4-3 there is no point to not having more speed on the field.

The NW offense..

It’s basically standard Big 10 fare but out of spread sets.. So it runs the plays we are drilled to stop, but while forcing us to play Nickel and put faster guys on the field.. which is what we want the D to do anyways.. The routes are all just stop routes, hitches, and crosses.. Everything our LB’s sit on. As opposed to the deep outs, posts, and hitch and go’s that thrash us against talented pro-style offenses..

so we judge QBs by NFL success now?

not what they actually did on the field in a PSU uniform?

by Mo Humphrey on Oct 23, 2010 2:43 PM EDT up reply actions

Well

Some people like to point out all of the NFL linebackers and use that as a measuring stick. Linebacker-U etc etc.

People point out all the NFL DEs that LJ has put into the league.

So by that same token you’d like to see other positions have success in the NFL.

by buk110 on Oct 23, 2010 2:44 PM EDT up reply actions

So that cancels out what they did in college?

I’m not following your logic. Jay coached them in college and got results when they played for him. Shouldn’t that point to Jay being a good coach since he got the most out of his talent?

Minni gives up on AVERAGE:

238.6 passing yards
141.6 rushing yards
And gives up 31.7 points per game.

This is taking into consideration games against Middle Tennessee and South Dakota.
