Northwestern's Dan Persa to start after concussion
Looks like Northwestern won't have to resort to the 3rd String walk on afterall.

One week after a concussion?
If I were an NW fan I’d still be nervous.
"I'm colonel cool! And I'm the captain on this rocket to the stars!"
It looks to me like they might be rushing him back
It doesn’t help that from what I’ve read, NW is painfully thin at QB. Their back-up is a redshirt freshman who has only thrown the ball 7 times, and after that they’ve got a couple true freshman that they were probably trying to redshirt.
soooo...
They’re Penn State’s QB situation behind Persa?

PAT FITZGERALD DOESN'T CARE ABOUT ANYTHING EXCEPT WINNING.

especially if it’s winning against Iowa.
Dear team, thanks for accomplishing nothing.

He's a good QB and looking to do some damage in front of his hometown crowd...
I’d say by Wednesday, we gotta leave the UM win in the dust and remember that there are a few more games to play.

Hope Persa plays.
I watched him during his HS days and he was special. I think much better than the Gonzalez kid that followed. Though Gonzalez may make it at another position.
I always want to beat an opponent with their best on the field.
Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.

I too always want to beat an opponent with their best on the field.
Unfortunately I’m not sure if I’d rather lose to an opponent with their best on the field, or whip the daylights out of their backups.

Nah
With honor, beat the crap out of their best.
Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.
Vince Lombardi
yes, but that wasn't an option I gave
I know I’d much rather beat the crap out of their best, but if that isn’t an option, and my 2 choices are:
1) lose to their best
or 2) beat their backups
I don’t honestly know what I’d want, especially since after a few years no one really remembers the specifics and only remembers the W or the L.
