SEAN LEE

Sean Lee just suplexed Mike Hart, of Michigan fame.  It was beautiful.  Hart left the game with a bruised ego.  Then Lee followed up that satisfying tackle the very next play by intercepting Peyton Manning.  Oh yeah, and then he ran it back for a TD.  So much awesome in just two plays I nearly had a stroke.

So often I watch the NFL just for our players, it's been great to see Lee as a rookie really asert himself after all the adversity he faced in his last two years at Penn State.

I hate the Cowboys

But I loooooove Sean Lee. So glad to see him tearing it up down there.

As a Colts fan,

I had mixed emotions watching that pick-6. Hopefully, he continues to have a good game, but the Colts pull it out in the end.

Damn it!

I did not watch this because I hate the Cowgirls. That’ll learn me.

Pretty sure

He got hurt on that play. Went back to locker room.

by flynnpsu on Dec 5, 2010 6:27 PM EST reply actions

They did show him going back to the locker room.

He didn’t seem to be limping, so hopefully he didn’t re-aggravate his knee injury.

as an eagles fan who bet the colts

i loved those plays and hated them at the same time

I wouldn’t give a hoot in hell for a man who lost and laughed.

Rec'd for "So much awesome in just 2 plays I almost had a stroke."

Sean Lee is the President of Awesome. Mike Hart is, at best, the Undersecretary of Only OK.

HE JUST PICKED MANNING AGAIN!

in OT!

I hate Dallas, but I’m no fan of Peyton either. I’m sick of his commercials, and I’m sick of how he can throw for 12 Ints in 3 games and the announcers still drool over him.

He is VERY GOOD in coverage

It’s not very easy, last few games notwithstanding, to read Peyton Manning and jump a route for a pick. And we know he’s capable of stopping the run. I think if he stays healthy and the team starts to trust him more, he’ll be a beast over the next few years.

I'm a Colts fan, but

Dang, I like to see Sean Lee play so well. I argued with a buddy of mine who said Lee wouldn’t be much of an NFL player, that he was a product of the “Linebacker U” hype. He’s a Cowboys fan, so I wonder what he thinks now?

Another PSU linebacker turned one of those "elite" games in (and got me a bye in the fantasy league, most likely):

Everybody knows who this is:

15 tackles, 11 solo, 2 tfl, 1 sack and a QB hit.

I am a Cowboys and I thank you for Sean Lee.

Being an Iowa fan with all the ex-iowa players on the Colts, I’m glad a player from my next favorite college team helped my favorite pro team.

One of the best names for a ball player ever.

Definitely beats that girl in my friends high school yearbook – no joke, her name was Shithead (Sha-theed)

Sean Lee plays for the Dallas Cowboys.

You know what I really hate, what I truly despise about Pennsylvania and Maryland? All of the bandwagon riders from the ’90s have Cowboy winter coats.

Suck it, Sean Lee.

Man, I am thrilled for Sean!

Was I the only one surprised at how deep into coverage he was on those two INT’s? It seemed he was almost playing safety.

Tamba Hali

2 sacks yesterday on a defense that held Denver to six points. To quote Peter King, Hali is “the real deal.”

Actually a lot of Penn Staters at the top of the NFL defensive stats.
  1. Dan Connor is still 5th in tackles for loss, in spite of being injured for weeks.
  2. Tamba Hali is 9th in forced fumbles, 3rd in sacks
  3. Cameron “Derek” Wake is 1st insacks.
  4. Poz is 8th in tackles, 5th in assisted tackles.
  5. Sean Lee is 6th in defensive TDs (about a fifty-way tie with 1)

Even Levi Brown is up there at 3rd in fumble recoveries—from his own offensive players.

It's a shame how many of those guys are on terrible teams

At least for Tamba the Chiefs are getting better.

Everything looks more important when written in gray italics.

Chiefs are 8-4...

Panthers are teh suck at 1-11, Phins are 6-6, and Bills are 2-10.

So…Tamba wins? Again?

If you're gonna mention Dan Connor's injury

You need to point out that Poz missed 3-4 weeks on his annual injury sabbatical. And he’s still 8th.
