Another Q&A with Blue Sapphire P.J. Maierhofer
This morning I published a Q&A with Blue Sapphire P.J. Maierhofer on my blog. After 5 football seasons, her Penn State career is ending, but she still has a few things coming up. Topics include the field at Capital One Bowl, her favorite half time shows, the Blue Sapphire Classic, and many more. This is the second Q&A with perhaps Penn State's most beloved feature twirler to date, the first running in fall 2007.

What
a refreshing and beautiful young lady to have represented PSU…it seems as if she was there entertaining us forever….good luck to her and her replacement who will have big “slippers” to fill.
I was surprised
to find out she’s only been the blue sapphire since ‘05. I could have sworn she’s been there since at least the ’97 season or so.
Highlight of the PSU/OSU game...
…was her twirling four FLAMING batons at the same time during halftime.
That says something about the quality of PSU football in that game, but you knew that already.
I'll sure miss it when the introduce her

Man....
I’ve proposed to Erin Andrews and PJ and got shot down by both…. wonder who the next poor soul will be? I was actually in a gorilla suit when i proposed to Erin andrews and i asked her if she wanted to “monkey around”…… she laughed and walked off…..
For the Glory of Old State
Brent?
Brent is that you? Shouldn’t you be doing basketball games with Steve Lavin?
