Vote For Tom Golarz, Rare Disease Champion
Penn State football player Tom Golarz is up for the Rare Disease award in 2010 from Uplifting Athletes. Tom, a senior, was diagnosed with sclerosing cholangitis, a rare liver disease. Uplifting Athletes is a program that raises awareness and money for rare diseases, partnering with NCAA schools like Penn State and their Lift For Life program.
